Speaker Barbara Clifford (The Time Tamer) is a co-founder of The Hinwood Institute. She is the lead trainer and coach in time management and a recognised leader in stress management. As an experienced coach, speaker, columnist and facilitator, Barbara assists people to unclutter mess, make order from chaos and swap the shackles of overwhelm for freedom. Barbara’s clients move from the relentless hamster wheel to waking inspired and motivated, making decisions with purpose and achieving peak performance. She has spent more than 20 years working in stressful, time-precious industries such as film, hospitality and marketing. Workforce Planning Start Up Program

There are huge emerging opportunities for the APS to use data and technology more effectively to deliver outstanding services and advice. SES increasingly requires higher levels of data literacy and a deeper understanding of the latest data analytic approaches than in the past.

This course is designed to enhance data leadership knowledge and capability, focusing on the role data plays in the work of the public service and critical issues that impact on the availability, integrity and use of data. The course is pitched at SES officers at all levels who are working in policy, regulatory, corporate, service delivery and other roles.The aim of the course is to build a data-driven culture and to maximise the value of public sector data through greater use and reuse.

Training is in a virtual environment suitable for SES Band 1 – SES Band 3.

Building Relationships and Engagement

To be successful in today’s business environment, people not only need to be able to discover and understand new insights, but they also need to communicate those insights effectively.

Join expert data visualisation specialist Paul Hodge for this engaging workshop to gain new skills or refine your existing ones in the core elements of successful data storytelling, including engagement, presentation and design thinking.

Attendees gain high-level insights into how to use data visualisation frameworks and apply tips and tricks to develop data visualisations that will engage, entertain and inspire future decision makers.
