Tourism Western Australia is urging visitors to explore East Kimberley’s stunning landscapes and ancient history using the Kimberley Wanderer Pass.
The pass gives users $300 towards participating tours and experiences in the East Kimberley when they buy an airline ticket from Perth to Kununurra through Virgin Australia.
The offer applies to new bookings made until 30 September unless sold out.
Minister for Tourism, David Templeman said the Kimberley Wanderer Pass gave visitors even more reason to experience the rugged ranges, stunning gorges, waterfalls, pristine sandy beaches and untouched islands and reefs the region had to offer.
“Visitors can choose from an exciting range of participating tours and experiences, allowing them to get to know the region through the eyes of those who know it best,” Mr Templeman said.
“The pass will also support and promote a number of East Kimberley operators as they recover and rebound from the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
He said the pass followed last year’s regional flight deal where 50,000 affordable airfares went on sale, including tickets between Perth and Kununurra, Broome and Exmouth.
Limited affordable fares between Perth and Kununurra are still available through Virgin Australia, starting from $249 one way. Visitors will receive information about how they can access their pass within three days of making their booking.
Mr Templeman said the Kimberley Wanderer Pass would be redeemable through the Kununurra Visitor Centre online, by phone or in person.
