iThink, a Western Australian public sector online ideas community, has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Public Sector: The Citizen Experience category at the 2020 Ashton Media CX Awards.
Executive Director for People, Culture and Diversity at the Public Sector Commission, Sonja O’Leary said iThink had made a big impact since it was established.
“Two heads may be better than one, but in this case, the heads of thousands of users have contributed to some innovative and impressive ideas, many of which have come to life,” Ms O’Leary said.
“My thanks to everyone who has taken the time to participate in iThink and share their ideas, and congratulations to the iThink team for their work and the shortlist nomination.”
She said iThink provided an opportunity for every Western Australian to contribute information and ideas to support the State’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Government has already introduced a range of initiatives, programs and stimulus measures in response to the pandemic and for early recovery,” Ms O’Leary said.
“We still need people’s thoughts and to post ideas on what should be the priorities and actions for our social recovery, restoring and growing our economy, protecting and supporting the health of our communities, the recovery of industry and business,” she said.
Especially welcome would be ideas on supporting thriving and resilient regions.
People who want to contribute should also download the iThink promotional pack which would enable them to pass on the initiative to their internal and external networks and communities.
The CX Awards winners will be announced on 15 October.
