About Shri Gayathirie Rajen

Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Western Sydney from the age of nine, Shri began her career in the Riverina, working for two small rural newspapers - The Temora Independent and Lake News. She is passionate about public interest journalism and telling the stories of everyday people.
Shri studied Film and Media at the University of New South Wales and Journalism at Macleay College. Her favourite pastimes are baking, writing poetry, short stories, screenplays, and exploring new places by herself with a good cup of coffee.
