Feedback is the third single that I’ve received from Melbourne based Lipstereo.

They are a good band who play an infectious form of indie rock that combines elements of pop catchiness and grunge energy.

One aspect of their music that I find particularly impressive is their emphasis on melody and also on shaping songs so the listener is taken on a journey.

There’s a definite retro feel to their music and sound.

It’s a formula that I like.

Plenty of money is being thrown at supporting this release with a targeted publicity campaign for Feedback including Spotify ads, international radio and video strategies on short content platforms such as Tik Tok and Reels.

The band deserve this sort of support because they produce a good product.

Their first single, Stop, aired for four consecutive weeks on ABC’s Rage program and second release, Little Spaceships, also found its way into the charts.

So, they are starting to break through with the music buying public and music media.

As part of their publicity push, Lipstereo will be performing three songs on a worldwide streamed concert called Let Me Help – Children Of The World.

It is to be telecast live from New York on behalf of children’s charities across the world and the event will host special segments from Nashville, L.A., Las Vegas, Australia, India, Singapore, Hungary, and the UK.

Lipstereo will be Australia’s representatives and they’ll be performing amongst some rock royalty, including Suzie Quatro, Ten Years After, Robert Kool from Kool & The Gang, Stephen Perkins (Janes Addiction), Alex Skolnick (Testament), as well as band members from Willie Nelson, Yes, Moody Blues, James Taylor and more.

Lipstereo are one of a group of young Australian bands who are producing great songs and making waves in the media and the charts.

Feedback should do well for them and with three good singles in the bag, it whets the appetite for an extended play EP or album.
