The Canberra Theatre Centre has called on all Canberrans to share their views, of the Centre as it faces a series of challenging decisions for events for the year ahead.
In a statement, the Theatre said that in September last year, 29 per cent of audiences reported they were ready to attend as soon as it was permitted and 70 per cent said masks would encourage them to attend.
“The situation continues to change and it’s vital we understand your current views so we can get it right,” the Centre said.
“The survey takes about 15 minutes and will be open until 12pm AEDT on Sunday 7 March,” it said.
“Your answers are anonymous and confidential, and you can go in the draw to win one of three $200 MasterCard e-gift cards as a small thank you for your time.”
The Centre said the survey, Audience Outlook Monitor, was an important national tracking study used by a wide range of arts and culture organisations.
“By completing the survey once, your responses help inform decisions by many cultural organisations across the country,” it said.
“If you have previously completed the survey last year, we invite you to complete it again so we can understand how your views on attending events have changed,” the Centre said.
