Neuhaus for the Netherlands
Matthew Neuhaus (pictured) has been appointed Australia’s next Ambassador to the Netherlands.
Mr Neuhaus most recently headed the Middle East and Africa Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and has previously served overseas in Zimbabwe, Nigeria and at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.
Mr Neuhaus has also served as Assistant Secretary, Africa Branch in DFAT and Senior Adviser, International Division, in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
He replaces Brett Mason, who has held the position since 2015.
New managers in ABC shake-up
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) has appointed new managers to run four of its key metropolitan radio stations.
They are Dina Rosendorff (Melbourne), Simon Scoble (Brisbane), Samantha Stayner (Hobart), and Melanie Withnall (Sydney).
The vacancies are the result of the March restructure of content teams across television, radio, digital and news platforms.
New Chair for Airservices Board
John Weber has been appointed Chair of the Airservices Board for a three-year term.
Mr Weber replaces Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston (Rtd), who has held the position since 2011.
In addition, Fiona Balfour has been reappointed to the Airservices Board for a further two years.
