By Anne-Marie, Major Toms/Asylum 2018.

Anne-Marie is an English pop sensation on the back of the phenomenal success of three singles that have achieved huge commercial sales and prominent chart positions.

Alarm (2016’s biggest selling UK single and 3X platinum in Australia), Ciao Adios (UK Top 10 and Gold sales Australia) and the most recent smash, Friends (featuring Marshmello currently #12 Apple Music chart & #15 on Spotify and climbing rapidly).

On the back of this success comes her debut album and it’s already rocketing up the charts.

It’s an impressively mature first up effort.

It’s taken her the past two years to put it together and she’s employed the services of a broad range of producers and co-writers to bring the project to fruition.

The all-star production cast includes Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran), Nana Rogues (Drake), TMS (Emelie Sande), Tom Meredith (One Direction), and of course Marshmello.

Co-writes come from Emily Warren (Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes), Ina Wroldsen (Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne), Jennifer Decliveo (Andra Day), and the aforementioned Ed Sheeran and Marshmello.

Anne-Marie’s rise to stardom has been nothing short of meteoric.

She’s already achieved five Brit Award nominations, 5 billion streams and 12 billion global single sales since bursting on the scene in 2016.

Speak Your Mind is pure pop with its infectious rhythms and melodies.

There are hooks galore in every song but there is also evidence of some impressive lyric content.

Her lyrics span a number of personal yet relatable topics that unite the album and seem to present a story of the highs and lows of relationships.

The album is 16 tracks in length and includes her hit singles Alarm, Ciao Adios, and Friends which is currently one of the most played singles on Australian radio.

An album for the younger audience, or at least the young at heart.
