Zara Lindeman grew up in Deniliquin, town of the famous Deni Ute Muster, so it’s no surprise that she’s pursuing a career in country music.

She started playing music when she was six years old, and she’s performed gigs around southern NSW and northern Victoria for some time.

Her first single, A Pony I Can Trust, debuted at number one on the iTunes Country Charts and number three on AIR 100% Independent Single Chart.

It was swiftly added to Apple Music’s Southern Craft and Aussie playlists, so she’s made a solid start to her career.

Apparently the single even gained some international radio play.

She’s Back is her follow-up single and it sees a change of direction from solid, traditional, country to up-tempo alternative country rock.

The track was co-written with Gareth Leach so it’s no wonder that it’s got plenty of power.

Zara has made a good choice of co-writer if you want to head down the country rock path.

There are few better than Gareth Leach when it comes to solid rock’n’roll.

The track is laden with musical and lyric hooks which makes it tailor made for radio.

I feel it’s sure to emulate, or even exceed, the success of A Pony I Can Trust.
