Based on true events, a team of strangers come together for one final mission ― an operation that could change the course of history ― In the final days of World War II.
There’s a certain familiarity in the storyline of Wolves of War. It tells a heroic story about people and events we’ve not heard before, but it’s an important one.

The film opens in 1939 as widower Jack Wallace (Ed Westwick, Flight from Hell, Children of Men, Gossip Girl) reads a bedtime story to his young daughter and tells her no matter what, he’ll always come home. Six years later he’s in a plane somewhere over Germany when he and his team run into anti-aircraft fire and they have to jump for it. They are told it’s a simple reconnaissance mission.

Decorated British Officer Wallace must lead a band of Allied commandos across enemy territory in Bavaria on an impossible quest ― to rescue an American scientist held hostage by the Nazis. The man has ‘information that could turn the tide of the war, so these unlikely heroes must venture deep into hostile territory, avoiding brutal Nazi mercenaries and non-stop bombing’.

Captain Norwood (Matt Willis, Madness in the Method, Allies) tells Wallace and Deegan (Sam Gittins, Await Further Instructions, Time Loop) that their mission is to extract Professor Hopper (Rupert Graves, Intimate Relations, V for Vendetta, A Room with a View).

Their task was to stop the work by the Nazis to develop an atomic bomb ― all the swhile evading the guerrillas who were determined to continue the war at any cost.

Versatile actor/producer Alderson (Arthur & Merlin: Knights of Camelot, The Dare) directs an action war movie extracting convincing acting performances.
