The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) and Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) have partnered to produce a series of webinars to help CPSU members plan for their future.
According to the union, the webinars are to run in three parts over the next few months, featuring Superannuation 101, Retirement Ready, and Education vs Advice.
In a statement, the Union said the webinars would be available to CPSU members only.
“However, if you are interested in attending, but are not yet a member, you can register your interest with the Union and a friendly CPSU staff member will be in touch to help you join the Union and register to attend,” it said.
The CPSU said the first webinar, Superannuation 101, involved the basics about superannuation, including what superannuation was and why it was important; who made contributions to your superannuation and how it grows; when you can access your super; and tips and tools available to learn more about superannuation.
There are two sessions to choose from: Monday 18 October at 12.30pm; or Tuesday 19 October at 6pm.
It said the webinar would run for 30 minutes with 15 minutes for questions and answers.
