IP Australia has launched its annual customer satisfaction survey and launched a new online platform to streamline trade mark applications.

IP Australia said the enhancement of its trade mark platform included a clean and modern portal design; intuitive structure to help people find what they needed quickly and easily; contextual guidance throughout the application process; and a streamlined application experience.

“We are still building the trade mark experience and will add more features to online services as they become available,” the Agency said.

It said customers who had conducted transactions with IP Australia in the past 12 months would receive an email link to complete the annual Customer Satisfaction Survey 2021 online.

“The survey is a key pillar of IP Australia’s performance framework as it captures the opinions of our customers and seeks feedback on their experiences with our Agency,” IP Australia said.

“2020 was unlike any other year and we acknowledge the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on Australian businesses and their families,” it said.

“These challenging and uncertain times make it even more important for us to understand if our products and services are meeting the needs of our customers.”

IP Australia said no personal information from customers who responded to the survey would be collected and any information provided would be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 as well as its own Privacy Policy.
