Time to watch the fur fly as a new breed of super hero is born in Disney’s fun-filled epic adventure. An ordinary day at Fernfield Farms turns extraordinary when Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Buddha and Rosebud discover mysterious rings that grant them each a unique super power.
The Buddies find five magical rings from the planet Inspiron during Bartelbys birthday treasure hunt. Budderball gets super strength, Buddha gets mind-control, RoseBud gets super speed, B-Dawg gets super elasticity and MudBud gets invisibility.
Before you can say, “Buddies, assemble,” the pups unleash their amazing abilities and race to the rescue when a shape-shifting bully from outer space threatens the planet.
The Buddies gain super powers and things suddenly get out of this world in Fernfield! After learning that Budderballs favorite comic books, Captain Canine and Kid Courageous, are based on real super heroes and villains, the Buddies find themselves using their new super powers to battle the evil, shape shifting alien, Commander Drex, who is bent on capturing the rings and conquering the universe. The Buddies and their kids learn that you don’t need super powers to be a super hero!
The test is whether they succeed in kicking major tail without revealing their new secret identities,
Together, the Buddies must use the rings responsibly with the help of Megasis/Captain Canine in order to stop a power-hungry extraterrestrial warlord named Commander Drex, who wants to take the rings for his own and full dictatorship of Inspiron. The Buddies soon learn that you don’t need to have super powers to become a superhero.
