Cosson to Repat Commission
The Secretary of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), Liz Cosson (pictured) has been appointed President of the Repatriation Commission, concurrent to her role at DVA and is the Commission’s first female President in its 98-year history.
The Repatriation Commission plays an important role in deciding policy affecting Australia’s veterans, and is instrumental in translating Government policy decision into action.
Historically, the President of the Repatriation Commission and the Secretary of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs have been the same person.
Stevens to head Data Right
Andrew Stevens has been appointed interim Chair of the Data Standards Body for the Consumer Data Right.
The Consumer Data Right, starting in the banking sector with Open Banking, will give consumers greater control over the data that businesses hold on them.
Mr Stevens is the former Managing Director of IBM Australia and a member of the board of directors of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia.
