Enrolments for the 2022 school year are opening soon and the Education Directorate is encouraging parents and carers to attend information sessions to find what their local school has to offer.
The Directorate said school communities were excited to invite families, carers and students to information sessions in person this year, following the virtual sessions held last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“You can also register to attend information sessions for students with disability about enrolment options and to support their school transition,” the Directorate said.
“Every ACT public school provides a range of programs to develop a child’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical skills,” it said.
“Attending your local school’s information session gives you the opportunity to check out the facilities, meet current students and hear about their experiences, ask questions about the school, its courses and programs and get a sense of what it means to be a part of the school’s community.”
The Directorate said online enrolments for all students from Preschool to Year 12 for the 2022 year would open at 6am on 27 April.
