A new release of industry and workers’ compensation data has been posted to Safe Work Australia’s beta site.

In a statement, the Safe Work said the initial release in March published dashboards for its key datasets, including work-related fatalities, workers’ compensation, work health and safety prosecutions as well as two industry data sets — agriculture and road transport.

“We received positive feedback from key stakeholders who performed testing of the site,” it said.

“Based on this feedback, improvements were made, and a range of new data is now available.”

“This includes the National Return to Work Survey, and data sets for mining, construction, healthcare and social assistance, manufacturing, and quad bikes.”

Safe Work said there were also updates to the workers’ compensation dashboard, making it easier to use, and more data to explore on work-related injuries and diseases.

“A new help video has been created to walk users through how to get the most out of the data in the dashboards,” it said.

“All data content from the Safe Work Australia website will be moved to the new data website over the next month.”

Safe Work Australia urged users to ensure they updated any links they had from the website to the old data webpages, as well as any personal bookmarks.

It reminded users that Our Data. Your Stories was also available.

The interactive data website could be accessed at this PS News link.
