The Public Sector Commission has launched its Young Achiever of the Year Award for 2023.
Doing so the Commission has teamed up with the Institute of Public Administration Australia WA (IPAA WA) in its bid to recognise high-performing young employees in the public sector.
The ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ will be part of the IPAA WA’s awards for 2023.
In a statement, the Commission said it was well aware that young people with fresh ideas, energy and new perspectives be the key to ensuring the public sector face the future with confidence.
“Nominees need to be proactive team players who are achieving at a mature level and making a direct and immediate difference to their Agency,” the Commission said.
“Nominations are now open and close on 26 May.”
It said nominees need to be age 24 or under on that date to be eligible.
The PS Commission said that to be eligible, the young person’s Agency needed to be a current Personal, Associate or Corporate member of the IPAA WA and able to nominate individuals and organisations for awards.
