Two of Development Victoria’s project managers have been recognised for their work at the Australian Institute of Project Management’s 2021 Project Management Achievement Awards.

Chief Executive Officer of Development Victoria, Angela Skandarajah congratulated Project Director, Luke Osland, who was named Victorian Project Professional of the Year, and Project Manager, Pranjal Pawar, who was named Victoria’s Future Project Leader of the Year.

Ms Skandarajah said Mr Osland (pictured left) and Ms Pawar (pictured right) were both recognised for their work on the State Netball and Hockey Centre Redevelopment.

“Luke’s commitment to stakeholder relationships and building the talents in his team is demonstrated by the excellent results he has achieved in delivering this fantastic venue that has changed the face of community and elite sport for Victoria,” Ms Skandarajah said.

“His experience and pursuit of excellence is highly valued by Development Victoria,” she said.

“We are proud of the work that Pranjal has done and the innovative thinking that she demonstrated to deliver this important project for Victoria.”

Ms Skandarajah said the State Netball and Hockey Centre Redevelopment had also been named as a finalist in the Awards.

“Our Leonardo Helicopter Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Facility project also received recognition as a finalist in the small project category,” she said.

“Development Victoria oversaw the delivery of the helicopter gearbox maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at the new Fishermans Bend Innovation Precinct in Melbourne for partners the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and Leonardo Australia,” Ms Skandarajah said.
