PS gender equality rises to new platform

The Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector has launched a new reporting platform to make it easier for public sector entities to submit their gender audits and action plans.

In a statement, the Commission said its Gender Equality Act Reporting Platform would be used by all defined entities to meet their obligations under the Gender Equality Act 2020.

It said the new Platform allowed registered users to submit their workplace gender audit results, Gender Equality Action Plans and progress reports as well as inspect their workplace gender audit results data via interactive reports.

Accompanying the Platform launch, the Commission released a user guide and a series of videos to help entities get started.

“The defined entity user guide provides all the information an organisation will need to gain access to, navigate and use the functions of the reporting platform to meet their obligations under the Act,” the Commission said.

“(The) series of short videos – each only a few minutes long – will help you to complete the most common processes using the reporting platform.”

It said one of the videos would help users learn how to submit their organisation’s workplace gender audit results on the Platform and the other covered how to submit a Gender Equality Action Plan.

Information on accessing the Commission’s Reporting Platform, including its 53-page Gender Equality Act Reporting Platform – User Guide and how-to videos, can be accessed at this PS News link.
