The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) has announced that its 2023 Graduate Program is to soon open for applications.
“We are looking for people with a genuine sense of curiosity and a desire to know and understand more about the people we serve,” the Department said in a statement.
“If you want to be part of the challenges and opportunities Australia is facing in a rapidly-changing world, and you are adaptable, resilient and eager to embrace a range of opportunities, then PM&C is for you,” it said.
The Department said the 12-month Program was based in Canberra and founded on flexibility, empowerment and investment.
“Unlike other Government graduate programs, you are responsible for the direction of your career, with the freedom to navigate your journey,” it said.
“Under the Choose your Own Adventure banner and choice of stream, you will organise and secure your own rotations.”
The Department said it sought applications from people “with diverse experiences and backgrounds, because those who work in the Department should represent and reflect the colourful and multicultural Australian public we serve”.
“PM&C’s commitment to inclusion and diversity reflects the importance we place on our people and creating a workplace culture where every individual is valued and respected,” it said.
Applications for the 2023 Graduate Program are to open on 7 March and close on 18 April.
