The sensational teenage siblings from the Adelaide hills, Ella & Sienna, have achieved a lot in a short period of time.
They were finalists in the Folk Alliance Australia 2021 Youth Folk Artist of the Year Award; Winners in the Live Performance category of the Songwriters; Composers; and Lyricists Association Festival of Original Music; Winners of the AGSA Battle of the Bands 2020 and second places in the Battle of The Young Stars; as well as Best of the Buskers competitions at Tamworth CMF.
As if this isn’t enough, they were also semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition in 2020.
I reviewed their first self-produced single last year and now they have released their debut professionally produced effort.
Next To Mine was produced by ARIA and Golden Guitar winning producer Matt Fell at Love Hz studios in Sydney, and the track captures Ella & Sienna’s incredible soaring vocals and wonderful sibling harmonies.
It also reveals their great song writing abilities.
Next To Mine contains a myriad of vocal and musical hooks that grab the listener by the ears and doesn’t let go.
It also showcases their ability to blend country-music storytelling with catchy pop.
Next To Mine has all the hallmarks of the work of seasoned songwriters and yet Ella & Sienna are still in their teens.

These girls have a big future in the industry.
