The program will be targeted at students and graduates from a range of in-demand ICT disciplines, such as data science and analytics, and cyber security.

“Government Agencies will be involved in this unique opportunity to develop and improve ICT skills and take part in the growth of the public sector’s digital capabilities.”

Minister for Innovation and the Digital Economy, Stephen Dawson said the establishment of the program demonstrated the Government’s commitment to ensuring the public sector had the necessary skills to meet current and emerging ICT demands.

“I am excited about the development of a new pathway for ICT graduates to enter the Public Service and the benefits they will bring,” Mr Dawson said.

The PSC said once the program had been established, recruitment opportunities could be found through its web page at this PS News link.
