Adelaide Metro has announced that managing a metroCARD online was about to become a great deal easier!

Responding to the public’s feedback, Adelaide Metro is to upgrade its metroCARD website to make it more mobile friendly, user friendly and secure.

According to the transport system, its new website will enable customers to:

* Name each metroCARD in their account for easy identification;

*Activate two factor identification for greater security;

* See all metroCARD details at a glance – including balance, expiry date and any additional passes or products purchased; and

* Manage and easily update the bank card associated with an auto recharge.

“We want managing your metroCARD to be as easy as possible,” Adelaide Metro said.

“This is why, in addition to the above, our upgrade will make it much easier to: Recharge a metroCARD; Set up an auto recharge; Buy and manage passes; Choose from multiple payment options, including credit/debit card and Apple Pay; Update your account details; and Update bank card details for seamless auto recharge.”

“You will be able to do all of this from the easy location of adelaidemetro.com.au – no more switching between websites,” it said.

“This means by the end of June, you can plan all elements of your journey from one easy location, and the ‘mc.adelaidemetro.com.au’ website will no longer be in use.”

Adelaide Metro encouraged card holders to become registered.

“Registering your metroCARD offers a number of benefits – most importantly, helping you protect your stored balance if your metroCARD is ever lost or stolen, and now you’ve got even more reason to create an account,” it said.

“Our new metroCARD portal is coming soon, keep an eye on our website for the launch!”
