Heroes with magical powers are everywhere at present … and the latest DC Comics superhero and villain energiser pretty much bring prominence to Wonder Woman’s role and present bright new faces.
The storyline is obvious, though convincing. Bruce Wayne is charged by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act and enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Extraterrestrial demon-beasts have to be stopped before humanity is wiped out.
Batman (Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gadot) work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly-awakened threat. The formation of this league of heroes is unprecedented—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Momoa), Cyborg (Fisher), Superman (Cavill) and The Flash (Miller). It maybe that it’s already too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
The storyline is more than disorder of noise, visual clutter and murderous digital gnats … because every so often a twinkle of life comes flying past.
