Noiseworks are back with their first new song in 30 years.

Heart & Soul is the first single from their new album which will be released in October.

The band is comprised of original members: Jon Stevens on vocals, Steve Balbi on bass, Justin Stanley on keyboards, and Kev Nicol on drums.

For the up-coming tour, and the single and album, highly acclaimed Aussie musician, Jack Jones, has taken on the role of lead guitarist replacing the late, great, Stuart Fraser.

Heart & Soul is a classic Noiseworks song.

Kev Nicol sets a pounding rhythm and Jon Stevens’ powerful vocal and the thumping heartbeat of Balbi’s bass is trademark Noiseworks.

Jones’ guitar work fits perfectly replicating Stuart Fraser’s mastery.

It has certainly whetted the appetite for the album.

Noiseworks were huge in the eighties and their first, self-titled, album provided the soundtrack to every party and big night out.

They produced a string of consecutive rock anthems such as Take Me Back, No Lies, Hot Chilli Woman, and Touch just to name a few and they became regulars on the pub and festival circuit throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

In conjunction with the album, Noiseworks will be joining the line-up of national and international acts performing at the One Electric Day concerts to be held from the beginning of November this year and running through into 2023.

The first concert will be in Victor Harbor in South Australia on 5 November.
