Aleksandra Mihajlovska* shares insights on how women working two jobs can make time for themselves.

Nowadays, many women are trying to balance two careers, not because they have to, but because they can and they want to.

In a world where you can be everything, why do you need to choose to be only one thing?

As a professional theatre actress and a PR and communications expert, I know firsthand the challenges of balancing two different careers.

It can be difficult to find the time and energy to excel in both fields, but I believe that passion is the key to making it work.

First and foremost, passion is what drives us to pursue our goals and dreams.

It gives us the motivation and determination to overcome obstacles and challenges that come our way.

Without passion, it can be easy to lose sight of why we are doing what we do and lose the drive to continue.

In my experience, having a strong passion for both of my careers has allowed me to find the balance and make it work.

I am motivated to succeed in both fields because I love what I do and I am driven to excel.

This drive has allowed me to find ways to make time for both careers, even when it seems impossible.

But what is the secret in balancing two careers and still having time for yourself?

What integrates your two different careers?

One way to balance two careers is to find ways to integrate them.

For example, as an actress, I often use my skills in public speaking and communication to excel in my PR role.

Similarly, my PR experience has helped me to better understand the business side of the entertainment industry and make strategic decisions in my acting career.

Can you set boundaries?

Another way to balance two careers is to set boundaries and prioritize your time.

This can be difficult, especially when you are passionate about both careers, but it is necessary in order to avoid burnout and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Make a schedule and stick to it, setting aside dedicated time for each career and allowing yourself time to rest and recharge.

Are you afraid to ask for help?

It is also important to remember that it is okay to seek help when needed.

Don’t be afraid to delegate tasks or ask for support from colleagues or loved ones.

This can help to lighten the load and allow you to focus on the tasks that are most important to you.

Why are you doing this?

Many times people have multiple careers not because they want to, but because they have to.

Whatever the answer is, don’t forget your motivations and why you are doing this.

If you are like me, you are passion driven, so remember it.

Keep your motivations and goals in mind, and try to find joy and fulfillment in your work.

This can help to keep you motivated and balanced.

Now, being in balance is a very interesting subject to discuss.

What does it even mean? We would all want to live a balanced life, but what does that mean for you?

Nikki Corson, CEO of Prissy Nikki and a multi-million dollar Roofcrafters, sums it up perfectly when she says:

I learnt that balance is being present wherever I am needed at the moment.

It’s not about spending equal time everywhere, it’s about being focused and being present 100 per cent wherever you are needed.

My Roofcrafters business is my legacy but Prissy Nikki is my passion project.

I always wanted to do something more in the beauty industry, and yes, you can work in two different industries and be successful, happy, and fierce.

You need to love what you do.

I couldn’t agree more.

Even if you have to work two jobs and you have to develop two careers, choose something that makes you happy, something that you love doing every day because we are forgetting how much time from our life we spent working.

Make it count.

So there you have it, some tips for effectively managing two different careers and still having time for yourself.

It may take some trial and error to find a balance that works for you, but by following these guidelines and staying true to your passions and goals, you’ll be well on your way to success and fulfillment.

Remember, it’s all about finding a balance that allows you to pursue your dreams and take care of yourself at the same time.

Go out there and conquer the world, one career at a time!
