GESB statements on the way soon

GESB superannuation has announced it will be sending out annual member statements, along with other information, from the end of this month (September).

However, the actual date that members receive a statement will depend on whether they are registered to receive electronic communications.

In a statement, the superannuation fund said paper statements would be sent out in early October.

“Your statement email will include a personalised access link to your online member statement summary, which is designed to help you see your account details at a glance,” GESB said.

“If you opted out of receiving your account information electronically, or we didn’t have your email address on 30 June this year, we’ll send you a paper statement in the mail.

“If you’re registered to receive paper communications, you won’t receive a statement summary.”

The fund advised members seeking to change their communication preferences for next year to log on and register for Member Online.

“Once you’ve logged in, go to the Personal Details Page, make sure your email address is up-to-date and choose ‘email’ as your preferred statement delivery option,” it said.

“Our Member Online Help Guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to register and how to change the way you receive your communications.”

The fund said it was important that contact details were up to date so the annual member statement did not go astray.
