Development Victoria has been shortlisted in a range of categories that make up the Property Council of Australia’s 2021 Innovation and Excellence Awards.
The Property Council said its Awards program had promoted excellence in design and innovation in the built environment since 1982 and were aimed to showcase superior examples of iconic projects in property development and investment across a broad range of sectors and design disciplines.
Chief Executive of Development Victoria, Angela Skandarajah said the shortlisted projects and people in line for the awards included State Library Victoria’s Vision 2020, for Best Heritage Building and Best Public Building; Development Victoria, in the Diversity categories for supporting and promoting diversity and inclusion; and three of Development Victoria’s emerging leaders, Kim Nguyen, Dillon McDonnell and Elizabeth Cook for the Future Leader of the Year Award.
“Each of these nominations are a well-deserved recognition of the wonderful work across Development Victoria by our people,” Ms Skandarajah said.
“Collaboration, innovation and delivery are values that our people carry throughout our work, and you can see that these values have shaped these projects,” she said.
