By Grace Amos, Kaos, 2022.

Every single that Grace Amos has so far released from her up-coming debut EP has been very strong and By The Grace Of God is no different.

Underpinned by a thumping rhythm section and crashing distorted guitars, with Grace’s powerful vocals soaring over the top, this is her strongest track to date.

It was produced by James K Lewis (Rudimental, Meg Mac) and it exhibits Grace’s great song writing talents and her feel for power pop.

The track is a call to herself to not let romantic partners walk all over her, no matter how deeply she’s in love.

It’s direct and to the point.

There’s no excess sentimentality or over the top anger, just a determination to learn from past mistakes and stand her ground.

Grace has come a long way in a short time and 2022 has been a breakout year.

She made her festival debut at Valleyways alongside The Rubens, Skeggs, and Middle Kids, performed before 42,000 people at Suncorp Stadium as part of the match day entertainment during the footy season, and released three singles from her EP.

In the process she’s racked up hundreds of thousands of streams, all the while building a substantial fanbase.

At 18 years of age she’s at the beginning of her career and she’s really turning heads cranking out amazing songs that belie her youth.

She’s also enrolled at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she’s studying songwriting, performance, and production.

Given all this one would assume that her chances of success in a fickle industry are high.

Grace has all the essential attributes for a long career. She’s talented, charismatic, and determined.

And based on the quality of the singles so far released her greatly anticipated EP should be a cracker.
