An action-packed thriller where, once again, we see how money can (and does) change everything … and everyone!
Victor (Coltrane, Boyhood), Jeff (Artist) and Lynn (Fitzgerald) are going on a rafting trip, but the amount of ‘baggage’ they take with them will surely sink the boat. Their relationships with each other are also frayed.
The three are friends, but Lynn is with Jeff and Victor is not aware of this affiliation. Incompatibility in characterisations is initially apparent, as is the implausible discourse.
On the other hand, in a desperate fight for survival, Cusack (Better Off Dead, Say Anything, Grosse Pointe Blank) as Miller gives a surprising performance. He’s a white-collar criminal, who has left his old life behind after embezzling a client’s money and is plotting an escape.
However, plans don’t work out and he gets separated from his newly-found fortune. It falls into the hands of the three friends, who’ve escaped to the wilderness. Avarice and distrust soon turn the threesome against each other. Greed has a price.
The trio’s problems have only just started as Miller is on their trail. He wants to get his money back.
You could win one of three DVDs of Blood Money if you correctly tell us the name of the actor who plays the role of the white-collar criminal.
