Remember The Screaming Jets? They were massive in Australia in the ‘90s and 2000s and the album that put them front and centre on the Australian charts has just turned 30 years old.

At the time that All For One was released The Screaming Jets had already won Triple J Battle of The Bands and they had established themselves, through relentless gigging, as a force to be reckoned with on the Aussie pub circuit.

All For One was their debut album and it peaked at #2 on the ARIA charts with the second single, Better, being picked up by international radio and launching the band on their first world tour that included Europe, UK, USA, and Canada.

The Jets were an incredible live band who could hold their own with the very best of the regular pub band outfits like The Angels, The Choir Boys and The Divinyls.

Front man Dave Gleeson was quite simply mesmerising.

To celebrate All For One, and the band’s longevity, The Screaming Jets current line-up took to the studio during COVID to rerecord the album in its entirety.

They have aimed for a fresh take on these classic songs overseen by the album’s original producer, Steve James.

The album has been packaged with new artwork that incorporates references to the original cover.

As COVID restrictions begin to lift around the country The Screaming Jets are preparing to take the newly minted album out on a national tour where they will perform the album in its entirety for the first time.

The Screaming Jets and Silverchair put Newcastle on the map as a major hub of Australian rock and All For One is as fresh today as it was on the day of its release 30 years ago.
