The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has announced that Service SA centres in the city will soon be open on Saturdays.
Aiming to provide greater flexibility for customers across Adelaide, the Service SA centres plan to open on 6 May in Elizabeth, Marion, Modbury, Prospect and Seaford Meadows from 9 am to 5 pm.
DIT said the five centres chosen had been specifically selected for Saturdays as they were some of the most popular locations and would provide convenient options for customers across the city.
It said the initiative was part of an ongoing commitment to provide services easier and more accessible to meet the needs of all South Australians better.
Service SA said the additional opening hours would provide greater flexibility and convenience to customers, especially those who worked or had commitments during regular business hours.
“These centres have been specifically chosen for their popularity and location so that you can conveniently visit us no matter where you are across Adelaide,” Service SA said.
“Opening on Saturdays at these locations will give customers who need to visit a centre in person another flexible option, complementing our increasing range of online services available anywhere, anytime,” it said.
Service SA also reminds South Australians that services can be completed online on the Service SA website, including renewing their license or vehicle registration, updating their address and details, or ordering a personalised number plate.
