There’s a peaceful pathway for separating couples. This is the important message from Kirsty Salvestro. You too can stop fighting with a simple declaration of harmony which is required if humans want to survive and live in peace and harmony.

“The one thing I know for certain is that peace is so much greater than the alternative. The fighting, cruelty, hatred. The war. History has taught us that war results in devastation and destruction.”

Sadly, during Kirsty’s time as a family lawyer, she has seen far too many people choosing war over peace. This is not necessary, according to her, and it’s her mission to change the frequency with which this occurs.

“I have written this book to help couples work through this process on their own. Couples who don’t want a fight, who are looking for that peaceful pathway to the end of their separation, but just need a guide, a little help. By the end of this book not only will you have a solution to your family law problems, you will have a relationship with your ex-spouse that is intact and you will be proud of your actions and behaviour. It’s never easy, but it can be done.”

The most valuable message is to remember that there are better ways to resolve a dispute than just court, lawyers and fighting. If you can stay calm and follow Kirsty’s six-step process, you will be well underway to reaching a fair and amicable settlement agreement.

What Are We Fighting For? aims to raise awareness and guide couples following a separation, to teach them that their behavior, attitude and preparation can truly set them on a more positive path.

Some do not even realise that there is a path that is tranquil, takes little time, costs less and one where the couple can create an ideal solution for their family moving forward. It can and has been done.
