Website updated for city commuters

Adelaide Metro has launched a range of new website updates and improvements following a community feedback.

In a statement, Adelaide Metro said it had made a range of website improvements in response to customer suggestions which included an increased number of results displayed on ‘my next service’; route variations on timetable pages; fixed accessibility issues on a couple of its tools; and speeding up the refresh rate on stop pages so they didn’t display a negative number when the bus, train or tram had just left.

Adelaide Metro said it was consistently trying to improve its website and welcomed customer feedback.

It said feedback could be delivered anonymously, at the base of almost every page of its website, but although the comments would be read, no response would be given.

The Service said that if customers would like a response they needed to submit their details on the feedback form on the website’s ‘contact us’ page.

Adelaide Metro urged customers to make their feedback count so the Service could understand what it was doing well and how to improve.

“Try to avoid swearing at us and calling us awful things,” it said.

“We know it’s annoying when your expectations don’t get met, but we’re still real people and are genuinely committed to improving your Adelaide Metro experience.”

The Service said that while some improvements were quick and easy to make, other technical changes may take longer to research and implement.

“We’ll publish any major changes we make to the news area of the website, so you can always check in to see what’s new,” it said.
