The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) has advised that it wishes to develop policies around leave and working from home and has invited comments from the union, Together.

In its turn, the union has invited its members for comment.

In a statement, the union said that in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, AHPRA has advised that they wish to develop policies around leave and working from home.

“Your union has received AHPRA’s draft policies around leave management and flexible working arrangements. We need your feedback,” the union said.

“It is important you have your say on these documents. Please consider the following when providing feedback,” it said.

Do these policies look reasonable? Are there any issues that you believe haven’t been addressed in these policies? Do you have any concerns with the way the policies are worded?

It said feedback should be received by Friday (13 November) and should be emailed to [email protected].

“As a union member you have access to individual advice and assistance from your union office as well as a range of other membership benefits,” the union said.
