The University of Canberra (UC) has embarked on a new program to transform its students’ journeys, claiming its plans are among the best in the nation.
The project, in partnership with the Isobar Group, is aimed at enhancing students’ online experience through advanced digital engagement and conversion and retention strategies, while supporting students throughout their academic life and beyond.
Director of Student Connect, Scott Nichols said the project would position UC as one of Australia’s most digitally progressive tertiary institutions.
“The personalisation and optimisation of a student’s digital touch points will provide a contextual, intuitive and student-centric experience by delivering relevant information to individuals over the course of their engagement with the University,” Mr Nichols said.
He said the online experience was an important way of making students feel connected to UC.
“The digital transformation will place future and current students at the very heart of the journey to drive more engaging, rewarding and satisfying experiences,” Mr Nichols said.
“This is an industry-leading project and we are pleased to partner with Isobar, and its network via Accordant, Linked by Isobar and Adobe, to deliver this initiative.”
He said the program will involve Isobar Group partnering with Adobe to deliver their largest joint project to date on the Adobe Experience Cloud.
“It will deliver a single cohesive experience-based platform using Adobe Experience Manager, which will be accessible across all digital devices and seamlessly integrated with relevant UC systems,” Mr Nichols said.
The initial rollout of the program is set for later this year.
