By David Walliams, HarperCollins, $24.99.

Even the warning on the cover reiterates the title. David Walliams brings another collection of more hysterically horrible children, illustrated in “glorious and gruesome colour” by Tony Ross!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to your bookshop, Walliams brings us a compendium of catastrophically horrid children even worse than we’ve seen before.

Ten more horrendously hilarious stories about the absolute worst children ever!

Prepare yourself … a collection of horrifically hilarious stories about the absolute worst children ever has arrived.

Walliams says he had “so much fun writing these silly and surreal stories. I hope they will make my young readers laugh out loud”.

Aimed at children upwards of seven years, you would be wrong to think children couldn’t get any more disagreeable or revolting than those who appeared in the first two installments.

From 10-year old Hank and his endless pranks on his poor, long-suffering family to Tandy and her titanic tantrums. There’s The Terrible Triplets, who ate so much snot, belly button lint, and ear wax, that they turned into those very things. Fanny Funny Face, an expert at pulling faces that can equally astound and terrify.

With a cameo from Raj, a recommendation from none other than the President of the Unites States who views The World Worst Children 3 as “the greatest book ever written, after my own one, which was better”.

Walliams has created a collection of fabulous stories about the most detestable children in the world and it’s gruesomely wonderful reading, where each story has a moral to it. Children, you should really take notice because you certainly don’t want to end up like some of these children. Do you now?

This is the third book in the ‘World’s Worst Children’ series and parents may be shocked (and unfortunately a little familiar) with some of these characters. On the other hand, your children will love them and be in hysterical fits of laughter.
