Beci Imbriano has been appointed as the chief operating officer of the Federal Government’s Organ and Tissue Authority.
David Farr has been appointed general manager of research and operations in the Bureau of Meteorology.

Australian Federal Police Deputy Commissioner Krissy Barrett will become the first female Commissioner of the AFP from October, replacing Reece Kershaw, who is retiring a year early.
Adjunct Professor Sue-Anne Hunter has been appointed as Australia’s National Commissioner for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People. She replaces Lil Gordon, who has acted in the role since January.
Annabelle Wilson has been appointed Veteran Family Advocate Commissioner from 6 August, replacing Gwen Cherne.
Distinguished Professor Calum Drummond has been appointed chair of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Advisory Committee. Professor Barry Judd and Professor Bronwyn Fredericks have been appointed ARC Indigenous Forum co-chairs. Ben Rimmer and Helen Wilson have been appointed ex-officio members of the ARC Advisory Committee. Appointed as committee members are Dr Jason Armstrong, Anntonette Dailey, Marie Efstathiou, Associate Professor Lorna Hallahan, Anne Hampshire, Distinguished Professor Emeritus Lesley Head, Adjunct Professor David Kalisch, Dr Jiao Jiao Li and David Martin.
