A breakdown of the latest appointments in the Australian Public Service, the wider public sector and across the public services of the states and territories.

APS Senior Executive Service

Band 1

Emily Walter and Katarzyna Belka have been appointed as program managers for the Data Sourcing Operations Branch in the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Hayley Trevitt has been promoted to a Band 1 position in the Department of Defence. She was previously the inaugural Counsellor for Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance at the Australian Embassy in Washington, DC.

Darcy Godden has been appointed as territory manager for First Nations affirmative measures in the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

Steven Wenzel has been appointed as branch manager for national remote services, and Jacquelyn Hicks as state manager for NSW and the ACT, in the NDIA.

Other federal appointments

Rob Whitfield will chair the panel leading the review of the Australian Securities Exchange governance. Christine Holman and Guy Debelle have been named as panel members.

Merren McArthur has been appointed as chair of the independent Melbourne Airport Rail Link Steering Committee following the agreement of a memorandum of understanding between the Federal and Victorian governments, and Melbourne Airport.

States and Territories

John Bradley, the Secretary of Victoria’s Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, has announced he will leave the position by the end of September.

Former NSW premier Dominic Perrottet has been appointed to the board of TCorp, the NSW Government’s borrowing and investment authority.

Trent Curtin has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the NSW Rural Fire Service.

Gary Heath has been appointed as the greyhound racing industry member of the Racing Queensland Board.

Robyn Hartley has been reappointed as a coroner of the Coroner’s Court of Western Australia.
