Take a drama, add science fiction, mix some horror and sprinkle a little bit of fantasy through it … and the result is incredible close encounters (of the alien kind), good quality special effects and an agreeable mixture of ideas.
Brendan (Mitte, Breaking Bad), Charlie (Goodacre), Rob (Pepaj), Kara (May) and Laura (Bilgeri) just want to unwind and relax on vacation.
When Charlie joins his friends on a weekend trip to a remote cabin on the lake, they were only out for a weekend of fun. They were unaware that planet Earth was under an alien invasion and mass-abduction. When a spaceship hovering over the forest brutally abducts most of the group, the survivors must rely on someone with special knowledge of the attack.
As The Hunter, action favourite Snipes (U.S. Marshals, Blade, Demolition Man) is sidelined for much of the film, but is on hand as an inexplicable and unconventional local huntsman who appears to have special knowledge of the attack. His explanation reveals a long-time prophecy that’s a part of numerous mass abductions by aliens. It appears the extraterrestrials have been guiding mankind’s evolution from the very beginning.
Defiant Screen Entertainment has given Blu-ray discs of The Recall to PS News to give away to three lucky readers. You could win one by simply telling us the name of the actor who portrays The Hunter.
