Star and executive producer of this series, Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer) plays Riley Parks whose husband leaves her and their two children during a financial crisis. She displays resilience in the face of adversity.
Riley is a former Texas homecoming queen who, after her husband abandons her and their children, is desperately looking for a job and is hired at The Rub as a massage therapist. Not long after she realises the only way to make enough money to catch up financially is to give “extras” to some of the clients.
Hesitant at first, she accepts this as a way to save their home and look after her family. She has a supportive brother-in-law in Evan (Egglesfield), who is always there for her and the children.
As Lynette Montgomery (Shepherd) plays the role of Riley’s mother who works at a hair salon, has been married a few times and tries to look out for the best interests of her daughter and grandchildren. Lacey (Field) is Riley’s best friend since childhood.
This television series, based on the 2010 film of the same name, also stars Love Hewitt, though the premise is slightly different to the film.
Who plays the role of Riley’s supportive brother-in-law? If you are one of the four winning entrants, you could win a DVD of The Client List, Season 1. Entries should be sent to [email protected] by next Monday, 23 April 2018. Names of the winners will be announced in Frank Cassidy’s PS-sssst…! column next week.
