The Department for Education has announced that its next recruitment round is now open for full-time and part-time teaching positions starting in the 2022 school year.
The Department said Round 2 applications opened last Monday (16 August) and would close on Thursday 2 September, while Round 3 applications would open on Monday 30 August and close on Thursday 16 September.
It said it was on the lookout for quality and specialist teachers from a range of backgrounds to take up primary and secondary permanent teaching positions in public schools, from metropolitan Adelaide to the country and the APY Lands.
It said applicants may range from a primary school teacher looking for a career change, to a graduate looking for a first job or a contractor seeking a permanent role.
The Department said it encouraged teachers interested in working in public education to apply with all qualified teachers welcome to apply for advertised teaching positions to work in the State’s public schools.
It said permanent and contract primary teachers were encouraged to apply for secondary teaching positions suited to their skill set and qualifications, assuring them that professional learning would be available to those successful in winning a role.
