The Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) is to grow its ranks with a range of performance and performance support roles to be advertised.
The VIS said the increased staffing levels would allow it to support more athletes across a large range of sports.
“If you are experienced and passionate about working in an Institute, we will be looking for you to join us to drive high-performance programs and talent development, within our motto of ‘success in sport and life’, in partnership with National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) and State Sporting Associations (SSAs),” the VIS said.
“Our job is to prepare athletes for success at Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games and World Championships,” it said.
The VIS said it was committed to building a diverse, flexible and inclusive work environment.
“Alongside our competitive remuneration and high-performance culture, you will be joining our team of world-class coaches and staff working with Victoria’s best athletes,” it said.
“We have a proud history with a cavalcade of Australian heroes who have won the prestigious VIS Award of Excellence.”
It said interested candidates could expect the new positions to be rolled out over the next few months.
