The Service NSW app is the latest tool to be used in the State’s push to rollout the COVID-19 vaccine as quickly and safely as possible.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said people aged 40-49 could now register their interest for the vaccine directly on the Service NSW app, with other age groups to follow.

“People who register will be contacted to book via email when appointments become available,” Ms Berejiklian said

“These invitations can be targeted by location depending on booking availability and supply of the vaccine in their local area,” she said.

“Those aged 50 and over should visit nsw.gov.au to book their AstraZeneca vaccine now.”

Ms Berejiklian said the Service NSW app was used by five million people across the State.

“The Service NSW app has been a game changer during the pandemic and will now play an important part in our vaccine rollout,” the Premier said.

“It will now be even easier to register your interest for the COVID-19 vaccine,” she said.

Minister for Customer Service, Victor Dominello said the app would bring millions of customers a step closer to receiving the vaccine.
