The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has relaunched its website providing faster and easier access to essential cyber security information to help protect against online threats.

Minister for Defence, Senator Linda Reynolds said malicious cyber activity was increasing in frequency, scale, and sophistication, making the accessibility of practical cyber security advice more important than ever.

“The cyber.gov.au website is a one-stop shop for all Australians to improve their cyber security,” Senator Reynolds said.

“It has been redeveloped to improve the delivery of important information on protecting yourself online,” she said.

Senator Reynolds said the website also made it easier for Australians to report all types of cyber security incidents, as well as cybercrime incidents through the ReportCyber tool.

Head of the ACSC, Abigail Bradshaw said boosting cyber resilience didn’t have to be challenging or time consuming.

“Implementing the measures set out in the advisories published on cyber.gov.au is the best way to stay up-to-date with current cyber threats and build resilience to defend against them,” Ms Bradshaw said.

“Cyber.gov.au has also incorporated the Stay Smart Online website, so now all of the ACSC’s cyber security advice and guidance is easily accessible in one place,” she said.
