The Public Sector Commission (PSC) has announced that it is to bring all its services and information together in one searchable, accessible and mobile-friendly place at ‘WA.gov.au’.
The Commission said the move would see some content from itself, the Integrity Coordinating Group, Jobs WA, Lobbyists Register and InterSector websites merged and migrated to the same web address.
The PSC’s current websites will continue to host information and content until the end of June.
In a statement, the Commission said ‘WA.gov.au’ was a whole-of-Government website aimed at making it easier for people to find and access Government services and information through improved accessibility, advanced search functions and user friendly interface.
“In the coming weeks key stakeholders will be notified of specific changes that may impact their business processes,” the Commission said.
“It is a convenient entry point to Western Australian Government online services and information. It launched in February 2018 and is a key initiative of the Digital WA Strategy.”
The PSC said the website made it easier for people to find and access Government services and information through improved accessibility, advanced search and navigation functions and a user-focused interface.
“It also reduces the service and infrastructure cost to Government associated with delivering multiple, separate web services,” it said.
