The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) has launched a new secure website for the State’s public sector to protect and maintain its security information and resources.
Entitled ‘Security SA’, the new ‘home’ for protective security information has been launched at ‘www.security.sa.gov.au’ as a central hub of information and tools for Government Agencies and employees to develop, implement and maintain protective security processes and procedures.
According to DPC, the new website will hold information about essential policies and guidelines, including the South Australian Protective Security Framework and South Australian Cyber Security Framework, which will be available as well as security clearances and reporting security incidents.
“Having this information centrally stored in the one location will make it easier for State Government Agencies and their employees to meet their responsibilities to protect the Government of South Australia’s people, information and assets – particularly in the areas of governance, physical, personal, physical and cyber security,” the Department said.
“Non-government organisations, contractors and service providers can also visit security.sa.gov.au to learn about the protective security requirements for engaging with the South Australian Government,” it said.
It said protective security information previously housed on the Department of the Premier and Cabinet website has moved to the new Security SA website.
The new website can be accessed at www.security.sa.gov.au.
