The Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) has launched the Public Sector Fundamentals Program (PSFP), a set of e-learning modules based on the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework.
IPAA said the program was created for the public sector, at the sector’s request.
“Comprising 16 modules, the PSFP reflects the core capabilities as outlined in the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework,” IPAA said.
“Upon completion of the PSFP, you will be familiar with the 16 capabilities and have a fundamental understanding of these capabilities in action,” it said.
“The program is online so you can choose to complete the entire program or select individual modules depending on your needs.”
IPAA said that prior to enrolling for each module, participants had the opportunity to complete an online health-check so that they could gauge how healthy their understanding of each capability was.
“The content is conversational, light and contemporary and encourages learners to reflect on their own workplace practices,” it said.
“The content in each module is aimed at familiarising you with the basic concepts within the context of the NSW public sector.”
It said IPAA NSW professional members could access the program free of charge and affiliate members for $30 per module.
