Graduates came together to receive their diplomas and membership of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand recently.
The dinner and presentation ceremony is a regular occasion on the Accountants program, with family and friends along to join the graduation party.
With phones at the ready to capture the occasion, my table of graduates were great company but all seemed intent on getting their Instagram up to date and comparing ‘likes’.
What did we do before smart phones? Or was it just a phone call later and a certificate to put on the wall back then?
