A story about the courage of parents who overcome all obstacles to cross the world to rescue their children is endearing.
As displayed by head rooster on a small farm, Toto, struggles to come to terms with parenting his two newly-laid Little Eggs, Uly and Max. Their unruly behaviour is what has him pulling out his feathers!
This is the only the beginning of Toto’s troubles because as his Little Eggs are golden in colour they have caught the attention of The Duchess, a Russian egg collecting villain. She raids the farm, steals Uly and Max and ships them to Africa to become the main course at a secret dinner for the world’s billionaires, who are willing to pay thousands of dollars for exotic dishes.
Toto and his friends must find a way to travel to African and rescue their Little Eggs while avoiding hungry crocodiles, a trio of clueless hippos and even the king of the jungle himself.
The characters are endearing. Toto is an intelligent, shrewd, honest, friendly and faithful rooster, who is in love with Di, a warm, loving young chicken and very faithful to her loved ones.
Voice cast is Frederico P Fajardo (Toto), Felecia Angelle (Di), Dana Spejh (Uly), Hoku Ramirez (Max), Romulo A Bernal (Confi), Paula Andrea Barros (Bibi), Sarah Bartels (Duchess), Zeno Robinson (Willy).
Gabriel and Riva Palacio Alatriste are known for A Movie of Eggs (2006) and Huevos: Little Rooster’s Egg-cellent Adventure (2015).
